BRAIN STILL WORK AFTER DEATH

What is death? Our motionless, breathless self with no cardiac pumping. This we all know but what happens after death? How do all organs respond to the cessation of the circulation of oxygen? Among these, series of questions that bewildered everyone, the most asked question is, will we ever know that we become dead?

When the cessation of circulation and breathing occur in an individual we term that irreversible state as clinical death which is the end of life. Everything starts ending, but do you know the Brain is the last part of your body that dies, your mind work even when your body reveals no indication of life. When a person dies its heart stops beating in regular rhythm which is known as cardiac arrest, their respiratory and circulatory system become non-functioning, the body shuts down despite the fact their heart stops supplying blood to the organs but the brain continues to work.

Death just becomes frightening because people know they are dead as their consciousness extends past death and lasts till 10minutes. After all, it continues to work, surprising and scary at the same time.

Experts unveiled that before death your brain experiences the surge of electricity the reason behind this is still unknown. The brain starts losing oxygen but it is still conscious because the cerebral cortex can last without oxygen. The cerebral cortex is responsible for transforming information assembled from sense into actions despite performing this function you lose your muscular ability and reflexes before death.

The fascinating fact about the cells in the brain is that they do not suddenly wipe out, they go through a process called decay that can take few hours.

Without oxygen supply, your brain begins to surrender that is the moment when your brain starts experiencing its final moments, now you are standing between one pump of oxygen supply.

The final region of your brain that doesn’t give up easily is your memory center where all your life memory is stored which is also not susceptible to blood loss in case of accidents and injuries. Experts also revealed about the experience of people who came back to life through CPR that they saw flashes of moments from life before their eyes and it proves the effort of memory center.

Nowadays due to the advancement in medicines doctors can bring people back to life even after they go beyond the threshold of death through CPR and other life support, it arises a lot of surprising questions for those who come back that what they experienced? 10% of patients told the doctors that were aware of their surroundings and conversation between paramedic staff on the other hand 2% dint recall anything maybe because of the sedatives or treatment they received.

These experiences of patients arise the question about the whole science and that our brain is not suddenly annihilated even after our cardiac arrest, and to be dead you must have to die and brain dead simultaneously.
