Nobodyness

Could you ever believe that blessedness looks like nobody-ness?

In an age where fame seems the easily attainable standard, could we accept normalcy as goodness?

God chose the nobodies.

Jesus called the nobodies. He still does.

Could we aspire to be content with quiet lives?

Could our biggest dreams be to live peacefully yet faithfully?

I think the drive for power and fame is what drives us mad — for they are attributes that not many are called to hold.

To live quiet and peaceable lives, to work with our hands and just be…. Faithful.

Is it enough for you?

The decrease of self. To genuinely say, with no false of humility, “less of me, is best.”

Are you driven mad by your drivenness?

Could you release the drivenness that hold you captive in frantic living?

Remember a long life of steady, consistent, holy labor will produce twice as much fruit as one shorted and destroyed by spasmodic and extravagant exertions.
