Lazy saturday

So i was watching the ufc other night. There is one fighter, Tyron Woodley, i dont know whats wrong with that guy, many times people say something bad about him, he always puls the “race card”. I know that racism is real, no joke about it, but there are also black people that use racism for different things. I remember one time when i was drunk in a bar, veeery drunk, i could not stand on my feet. As i was drinkin, one black dude comes by my left side and said “cheers mate!” It was all good. We started to talk, he was from London, we talked about Formula 1, about economy, bregzit and stuff like that. Sometime later we started to talk about racism, he asked me “What do you think about black people?”. I was not shocked by that question, i knew that THAT question is going to pope. And now, that stupid feeling when you want to be honest, but dont wont to say something stupid and offend other person even when that was not your intention. But, i was drunk, and i am honest person, so i said to him: “Listen, im not racist, maybe i can become, but im not, wanna know why? I grove up in this country, here, we dont have black people. I saw first black male when i was 18 years old and i was confused. Im not retarded, i knew then about racism and everything, but to see first time it was strange feeling. I watched that guy, he was watching me with some fearsome smile, i smiled back.As i was going away i started to think about racism, how can someone hate this person that i just saw? What, he is a different color? So what? Couple years later i was thinking again about the same thing and start to analyes why we are not racist country? Here we know about racism as i said, but, we never get in touch with that thing. We saw discimination on television, but it was never in our comunity, i was raised knowing that there are people with different skin color on this planet, and learned to respect everyone of them as i respect people of my skin color. Thats it ! I never listened my parents talking about black and white, never have to listen about who is right, black or white, never have to listen about watching things as black and white, i grove up watching it as one. In country that you are coming from, they had slaves, its a base of racism ! And if you are black or white, groving up in that society where every day BBCor CNN shows racism, making the diference, subconsciously, you start as a kid to see the “difference”, to judge who is right, white or black? You understand what im talking? We dont have that here. But i was pissed on your country one time. There was a footbal game betwen my country and England. It was U21 i think. Here, football games are full of violence, mostly every game, its a veery big problem. Fighting, torches, singing and repeat. So, it was one stupid situation, i cant remember, but it was classic situation for stadiums in my country, players started to fight, referee stoped the game, it was it. Suddenly, there goes CNN and BBC reporting racism ! Here they are judging us that we are race country ! Starting to talk how we must change our behavior. I was so pissed, in that moment i relasied that racism is used, used by the famous people that are against racism. Used by the comunities that are fighting against racism, its all fucked up ! You know whats the funny thing? If we talk about anxiety, great Allan Watts said that “Anxiety comes when we cant deside”, that is true, and he said “When we pretend that happines and sadness are not the same, like black and white”. I was thinking about that, and i dont know why, connecting that with racism. You see, you cant have black without white, and vice-versa, its the same, but if we pretend that they are different we can have all sorts of problems for arguring, all sorts of games, all sorts of exuces to judge, but in the end, we are one, we are the same, yes, you are black, you are diferent, also, you may have diferent genetics than me, but the purpose on this world is the same. To care about each other, to smile, to love, to make this place better for all of us. “ My new friend looked at me with his drunk eyes, smiled and said: “Man, that some good shit that i didnt understand, should we dink one more?” i was smiling and said to him : “If i tell you that you are one stupit motherfucker, would it be racist?” He said “No”. Thats the point my friend…thats the point…
