Esthetic World

This world has been programmed,
Programmed in many ways ...
To show off , to maintain an image ,
To be of a certain type , To be pretentious all the time ,
To be good on the face value ,
To have hollow relationships and pixels of no value ,
And happiness they find in buying clothes and emotions ,
Such a beautiful world and such beautiful people ,
They look for what they want and disregard what’s new ,
This world is a pretentious place ,
Who are you ?
This question bit me quiet a little harder,
I moved two step backwards and looked me in the mirror..
Some or the other way I’ve been doing the same ,
By pleasing the crowd to be with them ,
Saying yes when I all mean is a No thanks ,
Laughing at their stupid jokes and validating when I should no more ,
I try to fit in to be with the crowd,
Because a person can do nothing alone ,
This is what we’ve been told,
This is what I fear and this is what I felt ,
All my life I’ll have to be this ,
If I didn’t turn the road !
Horrible is this reality and I don’t want to live in this anymore ,
Because although I am the same ,
I got to go to a different shore ,
I don’t know how it would be,
To be the one alone,
But I am now at peace , bcz at least I am true my core.
